Today is Wednesday July 17, 2019. I am sitting under my shade tent that I kept up last night during the rainstorm that happened last night. I decided at the last minute to bring in the awning & I’m so glad I did. While doing that my phone blew up with warnings of a thunderstorm coming my way. I had heard the thunder but was thinking that maybe we would miss it, but I was nudged into putting everything away. Grateful now because I have less to do this morning & can enjoy my coffee in the cool morning air!
This thing is making the area safe from mosquitoes!

It is a little electronic diffuser that keeps bugs away in a 110 square feet of area. It comes with a rechargeable 6 hour lithium battery & I’ve used it probably 2 hours so far. This is what it does:

Love this posting on the iPad! I just took those pictures & they go right into the blog! What a concept! I’m going to try to upload my video I took this morning under the shade tent. Let’s see:
So this camera on the iPad is a little “unforgiving” & shows me as I really am. I guess I need to get used to it if I’m going to be doing this! Now my next hurdle is to learn how to edit the vlog. Maybe at a later time!
This Termacell really works! I heard a big buzzing bug nearby & it never came in “the dome”! Incredible! Love it!
Here is my view from the shade tent.

The sun is coming out now so I might get lucky drying the tent! Might just go for a little stroll around the circle. I’ll be back!
So I am home now & it is 5:30. Olivi@ & Otis are tucked away in the garage & I got them inside just before the heavens opened up! I did have a “misadventure” on my way home however. I went to Google & mapped my way home…..I thought! Anyway the route said it would take 15 hours to get home. I thought that was weird, but the blue route line looked good so I figured that the time was off but didn’t think too much about it.
I remembered that it was 301 to 75 & I’d be on my way. But Google had another idea. It told me to take a “quick” right & it had me get off 301. Still not too worried because there are always alternate routes & I figured it was another way to get to 301 & 75. But oh no…….not so! This is what happened:

So what happened was I went down a beautiful wooded road that DEADENDED at a CLOSED ROAD! Holy cow! I was able to get a little bit turned but there was no way I would be able to do a 3 Point turn with Olivi@ attached. I was going to have a hard enough time just getting Otis turned around. The road was very narrow & there were ditches on both sides! So you can see by the second picture how close it was. My only thought was to unhitch Olivi@ & walk her down the lane. I got that done, but needed to push her farther away to get enough room for Otis to get around her & hook up again. So enter the “God shot”. I turn around and a truck is coming down the Closed Road! I figured that they had seen me on a camera or something & came by to help! Not really! It was 2 Rangers driving around the State Park Property making the rounds! So what are the chances???

My guardian angels today! Rick helped me push Olivi@ so I could hook Otis up. I would have been able to do it myself, but it probably would have taken me those 15 Hours! I told them that I do a blog & would they mind if I got their picture! They were cool with it! Now I need to write them a commendation letter! Will need to research that a little! So that was truly the most amazing set of circumstances! And just proof again that God is everywhere!

Hi Bill,
This is my reply to your comment. Yes, I will TRIPLE CHECK Google from now on. I will wear long pants with socks no matter how hot it is and I will find us both a CLASS C Motor Coach so we can follow one another and keep an eye out for each other in case we have a breakdown. Remember to check out Cheap RV Living on YouTube. Bob Wells is the guy. He looks like Santa Claus and lives in a van. There is also a documentary about living free in vans and being a nomad which is worth watching too.
So please respond back to me that you received this because I really don’t know how this works.
Safe travels – enjoy the journey!
Mary
