So today is Thursday, August 8, 2019. I am working at Artsy-Thrift. Very slow although I had one customer that spent $35. He was a costume designer & bought three women’s gowns. I was so bored today that I videotaped myself singing my solo for the radio show. It’s pretty pathetic, but I’m posting it here to waste time until I decide to close – early today for sure!
I saved this video on my YouTube channel. I think I’ll be able to make money one day. I just need to keep working on it. But that is for the future.
I took Olivi@ to Gerzeny’s on Tuesday. It was to get the wheels greased. Although I had called before I went to Doral to set the appointment, they did not have what they needed to get the job done. It took them 4 hours to do the work! I did walk around the lot for exercise for 30 minutes & I found a used RV that I liked. Let me get the pictures.
I’ll have to get them when I get home. But it was a 22 foot Class C Thor Freedom Elite – 2018. It only had 2,254 miles on it. I read some reviews and even though my salesman said they were good, others say not so much. I had read that about Thor before. This one had no slides which Bill said was a good thing since that is one less thing to go wrong. Another red flag was that they have had it for a year, which can’t be good for anything! One thing I love about Olivi@ is that I don’t have to dump any tanks. No smelly tanks either. But if I’m going to do this full time, I need to make that transition. I figured out yesterday that I need to rent my place for $1,500 per month to cover my costs. I don’t know if That would ever happen.
I liked the color scheme of this one. It was light beige. I need to check the countertops. Not sure but they were probably plastic. I forget about the bathroom and I didn’t get a picture of that.
I should have laid down on the bed to see if it was at all comfortable. I had plenty of time to do that while I WAITED 4 HOURS! They were also asking $51,995 for it which is about $20K more than I want to spend, but then again, if I sell out in Naples, how much could I spend? Lots of decisions to ponder!
I’ll just need to wait until I go to Arizona. I may like it so well that I move out there permanently. I can keep my camper in my yard where Bill & Cathy stay. I figure I can put my place on the market and then just pull Olivi@ behind Otis with the cats in their carriers. It should only take me a few days to get out there. So I just need to be patient & my path will be laid out for me.
