Today is Sunday, August 11, 2019. I’m thinking that I might not post a bunch of stuff on Facebook any longer and if anyone wants to keep up with my life, they will just need to go to my blog and eventually, my YouTube channel to follow me. I am more and more excited about doing the RV thing full time. I am still researching YouTube for ideas. I saw a 73 year old nurse who was living in a van that was really well organized. Some of that is really expensive. I’m just not sure what I want right now. She mentioned that she really didn’t want to deal with the black/gray tank thing so she showers at truck stops and 24 hour gyms. She had her hair cut really short, which makes sense. Let me see if I can post her interview here: I’ll be right back.
Living in a van. Love this. Plus it was really easy to get this. I just went to my YouTube, right clicked on the video that I had saved and a menu pops up. Lots of choices there so I just clicked “copy url” and then came back to the blog and embedded the link. Easy-peasy! The thing I like about the VAN DWELLING is that it is small and easy to drive. I loved that TIOGA on FB for $29.9K.
This one is on FB Marketplace and is near Fort Bragg in NC. I would be willing to go up there to check it out. It looks really nice from the pictures. It has laminate floors which I really like and an open space by the door. The bed looks like a “real” bed as opposed to the little one in the Freedom Elite I saw at Gerzeny’s. Cathy suggests that I start making a list of my needs in the motor home. I think I’ll start doing that on my new “on the road” budget excel sheet I’ve started. Anyway, more about this Tioga. It is 31 feet long which is 5 feet longer than my lanai! I really don’t think I want to deal with that big of a motor home. But I suppose it is like anything else, others do quite well with them, so why wouldn’t I?
So Suzee is having “issues” with her landlord and he told her to get out in 30 days! Well he wasn’t serious about that, but it got me wondering about that. I just told her to move out and she could come here. She said she would come over for the time in November when I’m going to Arizona for Thanksgiving.
So my project for today is to give away my fold out couch. I put it on FB Marketplace to “give away”! Here is that picture.
The couch is in good shape except for the bottom of it. So I was going to just “toss” it with the recycling tomorrow, but I decided to advertise it on FB. And Filomena and Chris inquired about it. Apparently they had a house fire and are living in an RV on their property – at least I think that is the story, but I’ll find out today. After not getting it picked up yesterday – our original arrangement, they are coming this morning at some point. I’m ready for them now. Anyway, she is disabled and her husband is going through cancer treatments so they need me to help them get the thing into their truck. We’ll see how that goes and then they need help unloading it also. So I said I would help with that. Anyway, I’m hoping to do this so I can still get to church. She mentioned that perhaps I could give them a ride to our church today. I don’t think I want to get involved with that so I’m going to say I can’t do it.

I’ve started following these guys. They seem to be doing what I want to do in retirement. I’m not really one for doing the “tourist” thing. I just want to hang out at a campground and enjoy the freedom without a house. I think if I sell my house I’ll be better off. I just need to make the decision. Let me go get the guys at Next Exit:

He really suggests joining Thousand Trails. I’ve been thinking about that and will probably do that “down the road”. He has a video on that which I’m going to put here:
So I’ve discovered these…………super KETO and only 7 points on WW. No muss, no fuss, no pan or plate. I just eat it out of the container. Another reason for having an Class C – MICROWAVE!
Well that’s about all for now. I decided against going to church today. I’m too late leaving because I was watching the YouTube. Plus, Suzee wants to go to Aldi’s and I’d like to go earlier rather than after noon. I might come back to add to this later.
So I am back again because I was trying to do a video in Olivi@. I first, “Live Streamed” and then I couldn’t find the video, so apparently it takes a while to get it going. I went back to my channel and noticed that I had some notifications and low and behold, there it said: Mary Brown was live, so I clicked it and there was my video. So I’m going to embed it here:
So then I went to my camera and re-videoed it on the laptop. It is still “downloading” and we’re at 43% and it’s been about a 1/2 hour. So I guess the live streaming is quicker. I’m going to add the second video here when it finishes. It is now at about 85%!
So now it is still processing. I’ve “published” it, but still needs to go through the processing process! I do have a link established. Let me go get that.
In the meantime, I’m going to add Robin’s Video so I’ll know what to do when I get the Class C. I think I have some of those rags that I got from some cleaning thing I bought that I never use in the house.
OK so now I’ve got everything on this blog. Going to check my note, maybe it’s from Tom at Green Goddess Glamping. Nope Troll!
See how Robin made her video look so cute? I need to learn to do that – everyone does that. I’ll research that.
