Olivi@ & Otis RV Life #74

So today is Thursday, August 22, 2019. I checked my bank account this morning and it is really FAT! Thank you John Beane! Now I can get the cashier’s check made out on Monday and drive up to Punta Gorda to pick up my new baby. I was going to wait until Saturday to bring her home, but Bill Strenkert said he would drive to Punta Gorda on Tuesday to the DMV and then to the storage place to pick up Ms. Days Ease (Daisy for short). She has her own business card now:

Ms Days Ease

So the business card has a Daisy on it (although maybe it’s a sunflower). The background is PINK for the Pink Flamingo theme. The graphic is a Class C parked under a palm tree indicating Florida and then it has all my information on it. So it’s a play on words and I’ll be calling her Daisy for short. SO EXCITED!

I am going camping this weekend, although it is really “Glamping”. I’m going to an RV park in Lakeland with RVing Women. I think there may be 15 of us or so. I really don’t care how many people are there. I just want to test out my tents to determine which ones I’ll be keeping for Daisy. I know the CLAM and the Shade Tent. I’m not sure about the other Hysake tent. That one may be included in the sale of Olivi@. I am going to start marking down all of the attributes to Olivi@ and then put it on the market. I’ll put it on RVTrader. I may call Stephen at Gerzeny’s about putting her on consignment there. Not sure if they do that. I got enough money from John to pay her off so I can get the title and that will take a while so I have time to get all of that done. Plus, since she fits in the garage, it is no problem keeping her in there until she sells. Plus I love “garage camping” in my little SHE SHED!

So this happened today:

Wylie on the CLAM

Wylie is so funny. She likes to sit on new things. I moved the CLAM to the kitchen floor so I could pack it for the trip. It fits lengthwise in the back seat of Otis. I have all the tents there. I’m going to have my red cooler back there too with the Polar Orange Vanilla cans. This has taken the place of Crystal Light Lemonade. I’ve stopped drinking that because of the aspartame since everyone says it so bad for us. Now I drink plain water and Polar. I learned about the Polar when I went to John’s house for dinner. It tastes like a creamsicle. Reminds me of my childhood.

Well that’s it for now. I’ll continue this when I get up to Lakeland and I’ve set up. I may even do a video. More will be revealed.

I’m in Olivi@ now with the AC on. It was beautiful without any bugs & then WHAM! The sun went down & the mosquitoes wanted to take me away. I’m glad I took a shower earlier. Got inside with just 5 of the little buggers! All dead now! I hope they are not around in the morning when I want coffee! We had a meet & greet tonight & it was nice. There were about 40 women. I brought the corn, bean & diced tomatoes in the crock pot. The ladies loved it Suzan! Thanks for giving me the recipe. And I used the crock pot! Here is a picture of the place as you drive in: actually, this is walking to the clubhouse.

This is at the entrance:

This is my set up so far. I’ll put up the CLAM tomorrow! The mosquitoes were outrageous this evening! I was attacked when the sun went down, so I’ve been in Olivi@ since 8PM. Not going out again tonight!

Hi Bill. I have lots of pictures. I am loving this place in Lakeland. I have a 5 minute video I’m going to put on this site when it finishes uploading. Put my awning away just as the rain came. I think I’ll leave it wrapped up. I have my “CLAM” set up so as soon as it dries out, I’ll put the walls on it to keep it rain proof. See you Tuesday for the BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! Thanks for visiting and commenting. I sure hope this gets to you. Please confirm to me by TEXT that you got it, then I’ll know I can communicate this way when I’m on the road.
      Love,
      Mary
