Made it to Sharp Creek in Payson!

I got here at 11AM so I got my pick of the spots:

I used a GPS setting for my Rand McNally and it took me to a neighborhood not where I was supposed to be. I then used my phone to get me here. This campground is really something. Sue said it is really great, I’m reserving judgement at this point. I think it will be very quiet. She loves this place. She has her kayak so there is a lake nearby. My spot is the only one with any shade. The rest of the place is just a parking lot. Glad I got here early!

Another picture of DAISEE2 at Sharp Creek!

This is the TRUE GPS:

This is the altitude:

It almost popped!

Starting this again on my second day at Sharp Creek. This place is really pretty cool and it is nice to share it with other like minded women. I got up this morning in time to make it to the meeting at 5AM. Didn’t have coffee, but enjoyed the meeting anyway. 61 inside of DAISEE2 and 55 outside. These were my temps today!

The sun is shining in my side door and it feels great and is warming up the rig for Taxi and me. I’m going kayaking this morning at 8AM. Sue is driving me. I pumped up the kayak yesterday with the help of Alice. I used the little red pump and it worked for the bottom and the half of one side before it conked out. So it’s essentially useless.

Sunset last night:

Going to be leaving shortly for kayaking. I’ll be back to continue this then. Stay tuned!

This is how I do coffee when camping without hook ups:

Shannon made our reservation for next JUNE 2026. I think it may be a room at Lake Lodge rather than a cabin, but I don’t really care. I just hope we have a bathroom.

Now back to Kayaking:

This was the lake we went to for kayaking. It was beautiful and nice and COOL. Here is proof I got on the lake:

I’m on the water waiting for the others to get in. I discovered that my water holder got too wet to hold my phone, but it fits in the water proof holder I’ve had since Florida, so tomorrow if I go again, I’ll use that. We were so lucky today on the lake. The Fish and Game folks were stocking the lake. It was amazing to see it. Everyone was really excited to see it. The truck looked like this:

The first truck that arrived, shot the baby fish out the back. It was so cool, but I didn’t have my phone with me. So there was a second truck (the one above) with bigger fish. The woman scooped them out with a net and let them loose.

Got my camera for this one:

So what were the chances that we would be there to experience that! So blessed!

Back to kayaking: the launch!

I took out the chip from my dash cam and I’m converting them to YouTube Videos.  Here is the first one:

Even though I have the other new front camera, I think I’ll still use this one as my dashcam: Here is the next one – the road was AMAZING coming up here:

The next 2 videos are getting into the Group Site at the Campground:

Second video getting to my parking spot in the group area:
