Hello World,

It’s been a week since I’ve posted.  I think mainly because I’ve been busy with all kinds of things and work has been particularly stressful due to our scheduling issues and the fact that everyday we have to check the schedule and find people to work and I can’t get other things done that need to be done because of that and the saga goes on and on – not to mention our boss “Lily” is on vacation.  But they’ll be feeling the same way when I’m gone on my vacation to Atlanta.  Can’t wait!  It’s gonna be a blast!  My “cat” sitter Sara came by the other day with Jackie and I never met her.  She is coming down from Bonita Springs.  I trust Jackie to have just the “right” person to be taking care of the cats because she’s more anal about her cats than I am.  Speaking of cats:  here is Wylie “hiding”:

Dang – can’t find her picture on FB, but it was so cute and I had an opportunity to create my own “Soul Mates”.

Soul Mates

I was at Pet Smart yesterday and a KIA Soul was parked near me so I moved “TY” next to the other Soul and took this picture.  Kris texted me about her picture and said it was so funny seeing them together so “randomly” in the parking lot it begged the questions, was it really “random”, did they realize that they parked that way, did they know each other etc, etc.  It would be fun to live near Kris and Rodney – it would always be a “trip”.  They are a very interesting couple.  Kris is in advertising and VP of POD advertising.  I have no idea what Rodney does for a living – last I heard he was working in the Library where Beverly (Kristin’s mom) worked.  But I know for a fact that Kris is very talented.  She went to Sarah Lawrence and majored in Film.  Then she got her Masters at FSU and I see she is also an “adjuct” professor at FSU.  So I think she’s the “moneymaker” in the home – although I could be wrong about that.  I “unfriended” Rodney when all his posts had “swear words” in them and I didn’t want that on my FB history.

I also took this picture of TY.  I put the bumper sticker on him and also my “Life is Good” sticker.  Now I’m getting used to him and we’re really “Soul Mates”.

Ty’s Tats

When I find a “Co-Exist” sticker, I’ll be happy about that and I’ll be done with the “Tattoos”.  Think I’ll go on line to find that.  The other day I was looking around TY’s trunk.  I thought I’d find a “spare tire”.  But no spare tire, so I texted Blake my salesperson (he responds very well to texts) and he said there is no spare tire any more in many cars.  There is some sort of “fix it” kit.  I Googled “spare tires in Kia Soul” and I think that was what I read.  Apparently, the “spare tire” adds too much weight to cars now and for fuel efficiency they are now eliminating them.  I have a tire replacement option and road side assistance so I’m not going to worry about having a flat tire that I have to fix, so that’s all there is about that now!

Had our Corrections Meeting last night.  We’re dressing up for Founder’s Day.  Polly is making the costumes – I know they will be cute.   I’m also doing “GRAPEVINE” so I’ll keep busy that day!  That is on Saturday the 20th.  This coming Saturday I have my “hair done” and this is our “first ever” wedding in our new Church space on Sunday.  It’s going to be a busy weekend.

Countdown to Atlanta is ON:  21 Days!  I’m so excited!  Still don’t know if Haven will be my roommate.  She can’t seem to get it together – but I won’t worry about that.  It would be nice to have a “companion” to go to events with, but again, there will be others.  Plus I’ve signed up to volunteer at The Grapevine along with Reception.  I hope they remind me when I’m supposed to do that.  I hope I didn’t choose to be in 2 places at the same time.  I think I’m at reception on Friday and The Grapevine on Saturday.  Oh well.

Hey I got my new Helmet the other day.  Let me take a picture of it.  It seems “BIG”, but I love the face protector.  It comes down with a touch of a button:

It looks like it has red in it in these pictures, but it is really “HOT” pink.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!  Can’t wait to go for a ride on Red with my new helmet.  It’s gonna be GRAPE!

So that is interesting!  My life has really changed over these past 10 years.  All for the better though.  I now have a wonderful home in MESA where my RV DAISEE2 sits right in the yard.  I have a beautiful 2006 JEEP Wrangler named RED now:  I’m trying to add pictures here – doesn’t seem to work though!

Oh heck!  Can’t add pictures for some reason.  I’ll keep trying:  Nope.  I’ll start another blog.
