Good Morning Everyone. Today is Labor Day!
We have a volunteer group (LDS) come by on each Flag Flying Holiday and places a flag in front of the house. This is today’s FLAG! I just got back from the gym. Walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes. I had the place all to myself until about 5 minutes until I finished. There is an older man and his “caregiver” (could be his daughter) that come and use the equipment. I like being there by myself, but it’s pretty selfish I know. Oh well!

According to comments on FB, the pier is still messed up from Hurricane Ian (2 years ago) and they need permits to start rebuilding. It’s a shame because it was a very nice attraction in Naples. I’m sure there are other things in the same position. It would be sad to go back to Naples as it is today. Maybe in a few years I’ll go across country in DAISEE2 with Jack and the cats. We’ll see if that ever happens. We’re going to try it out here first. Next July/August at Fool Hollow Site Ruddy Duck 6.

I’m trying to find out how I can see who my subscribers are. It might be interesting. I saw a statistic that about 80% are men! I guess they like my picture!
This is a great video about Naples and reminds me how beautiful it was. I’m glad to be out west now and living with Jack and the kitties, but I still have a fondness for Naples!

We’re going to COSTCO today (September 5, 2025) for lunch. We always go out on Fridays for lunch. Gonna use my credit at COSTCO to buy paper towels and maybe something else. I’ll keep you posted! Didn’t get anything at COSTCO except the unbelievable big hot dogs for $1.50 and PAPER TOWELS for $30! They are THE BEST paper towels.
Just thought I’d add this to this blog so I can save myself thousands of dollars by NOT going to THE EROS TOUR!
