Hello everyone! I’m starting a new post from my iPad today because I need to practice doing this as I plan to blog on my iPad when I go to Yellowstone next June. Today I’m just hanging out with the kitties since Jack went to Tempe for lunch with “the guys”! I’m happy he does that so he can’t complain about my travels with my friends in Daisy! But he does anyway!
Took this picture of Ziggy on my pillow this morning!

My next trip is in two weeks when I travel to Page so I can see Antelope Canyon. Can’t wait. I hope it will be cooler – we’re still triple digits here in Mesa! I’m tired of it! Anyway, this trip will be 7 days because we are traveling to Canyon De Chelly also. I’ve wanted to do that & it will be with Marie, Sue & Genie. I’m not taking Metaxa which is sad for me, but she’ll be better off at home.
Wanted to practice putting in a picture from the library. It’s pretty easy. I will continue this on my laptop in the next day or two. So check back!

Ran across this picture while scrolling through my blog: Such a pretty picture of snow on Mt. Graham at Roper Lake State Park:

Today is 911. I’m putting in this video so I can always remember what happened on that day.
Yesterday, Charlie Kirk was assassinated at a college campus in Utah. He is someone who was really amazing and he got so many young people to vote Republican in the last election. He was so smart. He debated many students and tried to change their minds if necessary. The shooter is still on the run. It was all very sad! God bless him. He was only 31 but had wisdom way beyond his years. It is a true loss for America. President Trump spoke from the Oval Office about it last night. Charlie was a great father, husband and man! I started watching him during the campaign last year. God Bless Him!

I think this was a picture of him from yesterdays’ event. On Friday, September 12, they have caught the shooter. His father talked him in to turning himself in. Now the fun begins to see how it plays out. I have been surprised at all of the comments about this assassination! Pro (unbelieveable) and Con. A friend on FB whom I worked with at the restaurant in Naples posted: “Am I the only one who doesn’t know who Charlie Kirk is?” I guess that could happen. It’s interesting. I personally thought Charlie Kirk was a good man, father, husband. I could see how “women libbers” would think differently because he believed in “barefoot and pregnant”, but also respected his wife for who she was. His movement “Turning Point” is huge. It will be interesting to watch how this plays out. It reminds me of “How it Works”: “We stood at the turning point. We asked His protection and care with complete abandon”! I wonder if he got the name of his movement from that.
This was the picture I put on FB this morning:
It is made up of all of the faces of the people lost that day. NEVER FORGET!
In a week I’ll be on the road again. Here are the temperatures in Page and Mesa for the next week or so:
I want to see what the elevation of Page is. Be Right Back!

I’ve started using ChatGPT for my “Google”. I like it because it gives me more information than Google does and it keeps a history of my chats so I can look of the information again. It saves the info on my iPad, iPhone and computer. It doesn’t combine them so I need to check each device but that is OK – so far! I take it back. Just checked ChatGPT on my computer and it lists everything I’ve researched. Very cool!
My Citi VISA card has a new perk:
Good to know!
My bank has it to and confirms:
It’s Monday. September 15, 2025 and only 4 more days until I’m “on the road” again. Looking forward to it, and it will be for 8 days which is the longest I’ve gone since being with Jack. I think he doesn’t like it, but I keep saying I won’t let him stop me. I am sorry that I won’t be taking Metaxa with me. She would be by herself too much as I’ve signed up for a lot of tours on this trip. Anyway, I am looking forward to getting out of the HEAT OF MESA!
I’m starting this again on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. I found this YouTube video about Mesa which is only 1 year old so it has some up to date information on it.
Found a local pet sitter. She does mostly dogs, but may do cats. Good to know:
Today I leave for Antelope Point. I’ll begin again later with a new blog. Come back!
