Bill sent me this picture yesterday on Winston’s “Gotcha Day”! Look!!!! He is growing a beard! It looks great. Hope he keeps it!

I had 15 comments this morning on a post back in September. They are never “anything” just bots sending weird messages and often from a foreign country in a language I don’t know. The last post got a little long so I wanted to start a new one. I went to my meeting this morning and it ended early because there were only 5 of us there and we all know each other so no reason to keep the meeting going. I like it that it ends early so I can do other things.

Today is very nice, it’s in the 60’s this morning although it will get warmer as the week goes on. I had made a reservation to go to Lost Dutchman on the 15th, but decided to cancel because it will be too warm. It was going to be just Jack and me and we were going to take the Jeep so we could come back to check on the kiddos. It’s only 20 minutes away. But since it will be too warm during the day, I thought there was really no reason to go. But that means I don’t have a trip until the end of the month to Kartchner Caverns State Park in Benson. It is the last weekend in October and I think I’ll try to stay an extra night at CTRV with Bill and Cathy. That way, we can wait until Christmas to go back there all together.

I am still on a “high” from my last trip. I got to see some wonderful things that I’ve been reading about so now I can check off some “bucket list” items. The AZ Chapter of RVW is looking to get some new people on the board. We need a President and Registrar. If we don’t get one, we’ll have to disband. I’d hate for that to happen, but I’m sure it will work out as it should. Now that I have friends to travel with, it doesn’t really matter all that much. I can just contact my “friends” and we can travel together. Sue and Marie come to mind. We have trips planned through October of 2026 so that is great. The only difference will be that people won’t get reimbursed for any food or other things they provide for the rallies. We’ve already eliminated the provision of “snacks” for Happy Hours. That was a great thing! As I think about my RV travels for the future, I think about the National Parks in Utah to visit. They are not THAT far away and I could do them on my own I suppose. But just having one other person with me is better. Well, more will be revealed!

Another Bucket List – Antelope Canyon. I have another picture I like too:

I still can’t get over how beautiful it was and it was a little challenging! Let’s not forget that very cool ride through Canyon De Chelly:

Harrold was THE BEST tour guide!

Love the open air WW2 vehicle! Also the boat trip through Antelope Canyon was pretty cool! But that campground at Canyon De Chelly for $20 a night was amazing:

All in all it was a wonderful 7 day trip. The last 3 days on our own without RVW rules. So I know it can be done!

AI is amazing. I was just thinking about Utah National Parks and look what popped up on FB!

Funny!

When I go to Williams next year, I want to check out this campground:

I got the Waggle Camera to work this morning:

I’m going to Kartchner at the end of the month.  I need to book the tour – later.  Anyway, I just contacted Bill and Cathy to book me a spot for Sunday, November 2 so we can get together.  I’m looking forward to that!

I was looking back on my pictures from Antelope Canyon and found these three that show some beautiful views:

This one shows how steep the ladders were. It was quite an accomplishment I think. REALLY AWESOME!

Beginning this again on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.  I’m trying to get a ticket for a tour at Kartchner on the 31st.  I’m on HOLD!  Got it!  YAY!

It’s Thursday, October 9, 2025 and I’m up waiting for my meeting – I chair on Thursdays!  Be back later.

Starting again on Monday, October 13, 2025. It rained A LOT over the weekend. We even had a pond appear in our park behind our house:

People were out in kayaks and swimming in the lake in our park. It was very cool!

On the other hand, it snowed in Yellowstone:

We had a fabulous sunset last night on October 18th!

I got my new “backup” computer yesterday. It is BEAUTIFUL. I’ll take a picture of it and put it here after I get back from my meeting. See you later!

I really like it for a back up. It is slower than my regular computer, but I only want to use it “in a pinch”. I don’t want a bunch of stuff on it. I’m trying to install Express VPN on it and haven’t had any luck yet. More will be revealed!

Cute picture of Winston on his way home to Benson from YNP:

I got a short video of a hummingbird at our feeder yesterday:

This was our sunrise this morning on Bill’s 76th Birthday!

So my new little computer can open my YouTube videos without having to log in to YouTube. I like that. I’m thinking I may take it to Yellowstone because it is a lot easier to blog on a computer and it’s more compact. I’ll need to change a few things on it, but I’ll wait until then to do it. In the meantime, I’ll use it as is. I want to put a personal picture on it, like I have of the RED JEEP on this computer, but haven’t had success in doing so. I’ll keep you posted!

When I go to Kartchner next week, I’ll be in this same spot. Daisy will be very happy there! It’s a pull through.

Beginning this again on Saturday, October 25, 2025. I’m going camping in 4 days – can’t wait. It’s been a while! I hit the big beautiful carport AGAIN yesterday! It was more of a mess this time and the JEEP got banged up pretty bad. Jack thinks he can paint it and it will look ok. At least it was the fender flair and that is made of plastic, so it isn’t SO BAD. ANYWAY, I called Jared and he fixed it YESTERDAY! So thankful, only $200. Whew! JACK was really MAD! WOW! I saw a side of him that he hasn’t shown in 4 years. Hope it’s the last time that happens. Boy of boy!

Zena on watch for woodpeckers! She sits here a lot and looks for the birds. It is so sweet!

This is the blog where I show how great my place in Naples looked after Joann and Michele cleaned it up for showing. It looked GREAT!
