RV Life with DAISEE2 #17 Tuesday, June 7, 2022

Good Morning Everyone,

Today we’re bringing Daisy to Tucson.  I found a place to store her only 4 minutes away by car – 10 minutes by bike.  So we’ll be going to Benson today to pick her up.  We’re going to try to bring my desk back with us in the JEEP and we’ll leave the truck in Benson.  All of this back and forth.  It makes for an exciting life!  Too bad the gas prices are so bad, or it might be more fun!

I went to visit Daisy after my meeting today and ran the generator for about 1/2 hour.  Cranked right up and the A/C was cool as a cucumber.  What a wonderful RV – so happy with her!

I had to update the Word Press version and it’s a little different so I’m not sure how this will work but I’ll keep posting as the day goes on.  I tried to make it to the meeting today, but my internet is “unstable” and I kept getting booted out.  Not sure what that’s about.  Anyway, they are carrying on…….!

Jack sold his motorcycle the other day:

I put an ad on FB Marketplace and a guy from Mesa came down with his dad to pick it up.  Paid full price in cash and so it now has a new home and owner.  It really was a beautiful bike.  Glad it has a good home now.  Next – on with the sale of the Golf Cart:

I made up a flyer to put in the “Crow’s Nest” and they have started a new FB page for HOA homeowners.  So it should sell pretty quickly too.  Baby steps with “downsizing”!

Now I’m having trouble downloading pictures.  Might be the new version.  

I’m continuing this on Thursday, June 9, 2022.  I’m going to drive the JEEP to a meeting this morning on my own.  It’s an easy drive for me and I don’t think I’ll get lost.  I’m going to stop by DAISEE2 on my way back.  I may try to fire up the generator to see if I can run the A/C while I’m there.  I’m getting 2 more tire covers today to put on her wheels.  Then she will be “all tucked” in until we can go camping again.  I’m guessing it won’t be until September or October.  Too hot now and too far to drive (with these gas prices) to get out of the heat.  We could just take a day trip to Mount Lemmon though.  We’ll see.
