Good Morning Everyone,
It’s been 4 1/2 weeks since Jack’s surgery. He is doing pretty well now. We’re even doing some short walks. I went to Benson the other day and saw Bill & Cathy and Rich. It was good having them home. Even though I’m in Tucson now, it’s close enough to feel glad they are home. They’re going back next summer. Hopefully, we’ll be able to visit them up there next year. We’ll see. It all depends on Odie. I know Metaxa will travel fine, but he won’t do so well.
This is how we start our mornings:

Here is LUCI in Benson. She looks so pretty there and matches the color of the house:

So I’m still reeling from Hurricane Ian in SW Florida. Here is a picture of Bette & Suzan:

They are getting their place inspected to be sure that their house is safe to live in after the FLOODING. They said that they have a good service doing the inspecting. At least they are able to live in their home. Unlike Suzee, who is now staying with her sister on Bonita Beach and looking for a place to stay. I feel guilty about that, but I guess God had a better plan for me to get me to move out of Florida when I did. I’m really happy here in Tucson. It is a beautiful place but so different from Florida. One day I’ll go back to visit, but not for quite some time now. I have other adventures out here to pursue.
Next Thursday, I’m going camping with Daisy to Catalina State Park with a few RVW women. It’s just a “spur” of the moment rally – nothing really planned at this point. But I know Laurie and Linda (?) will be there. I’m going to take the bike again because I think I’m in a different loop than they are. I need to go print out the map of the campground. Be right back. I have visited this State Park from Benson and I think I even took Metaxa there in the truck when I was scoping it out.
I think I’ll take Metaxa with me this time. Looks like the weather will be beautiful!
Not sure if I put this in the blog yet, but during my last RVW campout, I put contact paper on the kitchen wall of Daisy. I have a LOT left so can redo it if the unevenness begins to grate on my OCD:

I love how it looks!
