Good Morning Everyone.  It is ELECTION day in America.  Good luck to everyone – candidates and the rest of us.  Who knows how it will turn out.  We’re watching Designated Survivor on TV and it’s interesting to see the similarities to these days even though there is a much different scenerio.  I think now that I’m watching it again for the second time, I am seeing it differently.  It is still good.  I’m not sure Jack is enjoying it but is tolerating it.  We’ll see how that goes.  I’ll be back to add to this post later.  I’m going to a meeting shortly.  The time changed the other day so I get an hour more to sleep.  It’s a beautiful thing!

We have a blooming cactus in our yard:

It is really cool!

The other day, Metaxa sat on the scratching post.  First time I’ve ever seen her do that:

We’re watching Odie right now.  He is not doing very well.  Seems all of a sudden he has “gone down hill”.  We knew he was sick, but he had been doing pretty well.  Here is a great picture of him – I have this one in Daisy.

He is a beautiful cat.  A lot of Maine Coon in him.  He is shy but finally warmed up to Metaxa.  He will really be missed by Jack.  I’m wondering if he’ll ever adopt another one after Odie passes.  He says no now, but that could change.  If we get another cat, I want an older one – not a kitten.  Or maybe a kitten.  They are fun!

Odie passed on Thursday, November 10th just a week before his birthday.  It is sad for Jack and me.  Not sure how Metaxa is handling it.  She seems ok I guess.  But she is consoling Jack which is sweet.  Here she is on his lap as he relaxes in his Lazy Boy!

I’m going camping on Thursday the 17th for the weekend with RVW to Picacho Peak.  So they’ll have time to bond while I’m gone.  It’s gonna be a bit chilly but I’m really looking forward to going.  It’s only an hour from here and we drove there on Sunday to check out my site.  It’s GREAT.  I’m looking forward to it.

OH yea, BIG NEWS!  Rich and I came to an agreement on selling my house.  I’m so relieved.  I’m so happy to sell it to him because he is such good friend with Bill and Cathy.  They will be great neighbors.  He wants to build a shed eventually.  Let me see if I can find a picture of him for this post:

Rich Craine goes camping with us in his Minnie Winnie.  Here we are getting ready to go to Gila Box:

I’m having trouble getting that picture.  Let me see if I can save it another way and get it to upload.

Anyway.  I’m pretty excited about selling my place and to Rich.  I’m praying that it goes smoothly.  I’m pretty flexible because I have no deadlines, although I would like to close before the end of the year so I don’t have to pay the CTRV fees.  But I may need to pay them and then be reimbursed for them.  Time will tell and more will be revealed.
