Good Morning Everyone and Happy Thanksgiving 2022!
We’re going to Benson today to celebrate with Bill and Cathy & Rich. I sold my house to Rich. I’m moving my furniture on the 5th of December and hope to close by the end of December. That is pretty ambitious but I think it will work. We’ll see.
We just bought a fireplace:
So I’m continuing this on Friday, December 2, 2022. Jack has purchased a new Hot Rod. It’s been a bear to get it delivered but here is proof it can run and is about to be put in the trailer. He had other pictures of it completely in the trailer. It’s coming from California and is about 7 hours from here. We’re hoping it gets to our place TODAY.
Looks like Dad’s old Mercury. I think it is a 1940 (I know that is the year) FORD. I’m excited for him. So he’ll have a play toy like I have Daisy. It will be great for him, now that his surgery is over and his cat died and now life can be settled a bit. And then MY furniture gets here on Monday and I’m going camping on Thursday after my birthday on Wednesday.
After much drama and many delays, the car finally made it to our garage. Ain’t it pretty!
I have a video of the delivery – it was spectacular!
It has an amazing exhaust sound and it even made the car alarm go off in Lucy! That was interesting. At least it was 8PM.
