RV Life with DAISEE2 #49 Saturday, May 13, 2023

Good Morning Everyone,

I’m in Tucson now and still on a “high” from my trip with Beaches. It was so much fun. I don’t go again until June 21st when I go to Show Lo with the RVW group. That’s a LONG time to be at home without a trip. But it’s getting to be hot here in Tucson, so traveling close by wouldn’t be all that refreshing so I guess I’m stuck until then. We’ll see – more will be revealed.

This is my view in the morning from the livingroom:

Metaxa is on my lap. The Lantana plant is blooming like crazy. Jack cut it way back this winter and we were afraid he had killed it, but it came back really well. This picture doesn’t show the real yellow color that it is, but it’s very cool. We had Javier come last week and he took out the cacti in the front yard by the mailbox. Also there was a small barrel cactus that was in the way of packing Daisy. So now we won’t encroach on Jim’s garage when I go camping. It’s great now!

I went for a hike yesterday at Saguaro National Park. It had been a while and the Saguaros are blooming. Here is a picture I stole from FB.

I took a picture yesterday of a Saguaro that had blooms on every arm:

The one in the center – can’t wait until it blooms. Probably in a week or so.

I love that they always found their own little space. I have an old picture of them out on the lanai in their own little sunny spot. Let me see if I can find that picture:
