It’s been 23 days since I posted here. Life has gotten better and a bit more complicated which is a GOOD thing! Today is New Years Eve! The weather is rainy and foggy this morning. First time I’ve seen fog here in the desert. The weather has been awful all over the country recently. Even fires again in Colorado near Susan in Denver. I am fighting a cold. I started coughing last Saturday and I believe it’s just a chest/head cold not COVID! I do have a home test to do if I seem to get worse, but I’m not going to use it until I absolutely have to do it.
As you know I’ve been enjoying doing Jigsaw Puzzles. The last one I finally finished after about a month on my dining room table:
This one took forever, but I finally finished it. So then I put my Christmas Tree on the table for about a month:
I just took it down because I got a puzzle of Yellowstone from B & C for Christmas. I’m starting that now and I’m doing it on a piece of poster board so I can move it and perhaps get it framed. Time will tell about that. I’ve discovered an “app” for Jigsaw Puzzles on my phone and iPad. It’s just as fun as doing it on the table and less of a hassle for the table. Here is one I did of a cat that looked just like Metaxa. It’s as much fun as playing solitaire on the phone or iPad.
It’s fun because it doesn’t take up any space on the table and I can do it in my quiet time on the couch each day. I’ve done 8 puzzles on my iPad and 5 on my phone (2 are not complete yet). It is easier to do it on my iPad because the screen is bigger. Here are the 5 on my phone:
I think the most pieces they come in is 400 pieces. Better than 1000. It’s still a big challenge and fun! Speaking of challenges. As you know Jack is a walking encyclopedia of music genres. He loves music and played in a band in his younger years. He also was a “roadie” for Pure Prairie League (AMY). During his first marriage. Anyway, his new truck does not have a CD player in it (the new autos don’t) instead there is a slot to play SD cards. So he wants me to copy about 20 CD’s on to an SD card and it’s quite an undertaking. I did copy one of his CD’s on to my computer and I think I got it on the SD card (not sure how I did it) but we’re going to test it and see if I can continue to do it. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted on this project.

I guess I’ll need to do one for New Years also. Time will tell. No selfie for New Years. I don’t think I’d ever get a better picture of the two of us than this one! I ordered a new picture printer from Amazon. The one I had isn’t working any longer. So once I get that, I’m going to print this picture out on photo paper which makes it much better. I think my regular printer does picture on picture paper, but I’m not sure.
This temperature makes me wish I was back in Florida. I might need to plan to do that next year. I’m going to try to get a Workamping Job at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary.
