RV Life with DAISEE2 #71 Saturday, November 4, 2023

Good Morning Everyone,

I’m starting this on Saturday, November 4, 2023. I’m recovering from a biopsy on my back. I went to the dermatologist yesterday and he cut out a Melanoma from my left shoulder. He took out “a lot” and the scar is going to be interesting. Jack will be my nursemaid to change the dressing. I don’t know what I would have done if he wasn’t around. I could never do it myself. I wish I had taken a picture of the site yesterday when I saw it on their computer. But I’ll have Jack take a picture today when we change the dressing. I’m supposed to baby it until I get the stitches out in two weeks.

So this is a good time to do this type of thing because I’ve committed to be the Treasurer of the Arizona Chapter of RVW and I take office in January. I’ll be elected at the Annual Meeting at DeAnza in December. I’m already an Administrator of the Website. Lot’s to learn. So I’m messing around with it now. I’ve just chosen this picture as my profile picture:

This picture was taken when I was with the Beaches Girls in Sedona in May. I love it because it shows all of the front of Daisy BF. She looks a little dirty. I’m glad I got her washed and waxed for Nancy when I sold her to her. Daisy looked so good at that time. Let me see if I can get a picture of her all shiny and bright.

Sidebar: This picture was also taken during that trip and I love it too – found it while looking for the shiny picture of Daisy.

I’m just going to download the picture again – I have over 4000 pictures in my website Library!

Gonna change the bandage now. Here is the pressure bandage:

Sutures:

Nurse Jack bandage – feels a lot better than the other one.

Your dose of cuteness this morning:

Found an RV Park right on Lake Havasu – will look at it next time I want to go up there:

Cutest cuddling EVER!

I’ve been looking back at my blogs for a couple of years, and I’m at #62 on Olivi@ & Otis RV Life. It’s all about my decision about selling my house in Florida and buying an RV. It was in July of 2019 when I was thinking about it. And low and behold, I did it! AMAZING! Otherwise I would have still been in Florida trying to decide, I wouldn’t have met Jack and I wouldn’t have these two beauties! Life is interesting!

Here is the scar after 3 days:

Even though the new kitties are adorable, I think Taxi is too:

This was from our last trip to Patagonia Lake. She was curious about what was going on at the neighbors!

Beginning this again on Thursday, November 9th and a memory came up on my computer. It was 4 years ago today that I began this journey to Arizona. WOW – I’ve done A LOT in 4 years!

Cuteness overload!

I discovered this video about my first “dump” with the new rig:

Cuteness today!

We start our day with coffee on the front porch:

I got my stitches out the other day:
