Good Morning Everyone. I got Daisy washed and waxed yesterday. She looks AMAZING. And when you rub your hand down her side, she is SO smooth. Rafael Dominquez did a super job. Took him 6 hours – he wasn’t planning to take that much time, but he is a perfectionist and took the time. He brought his wife with him too. It was HOT, HOT, HOT! I would not have done it – NO WAY! Anyway, here she is in all of her glory:

They put a shade tent up for relief from the sun – but wow was it HOT! 107 inside Daisy!
She was very buggy from my trip to SHOW LOW. I wish I had her under cover. I’m thinking about that, but not sure about it. The convenience of having her 5 minutes away is overwhelming. If I had to drive 1/2 an hour to get to her would be a pain after a while. I think I’ll have him come every year to wash and wax her. I think it won’t take as long now that he put the special oxidation product on her. She is SO smooth to the touch! I am just so happy with the job he did. I think Mary and Jan will have them do their bus when they get back in October. I contacted Denise too, but she said she is going to sell her rig. I was sorry to hear that. She is still working so can’t get out much. We should still get together though. Maybe for lunch or something.
Starting this again on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Tried to get a new exhaust pipe put on Daisy today but the guy couldn’t do it, so Jack and I are researching DIY options. Found this YOUTUBE video:
Got notice of a “memory” in Google Photos today. This was in 2015 just before I left for the International Convention in 2015: Love this picture because it shows all 3 cats!

2025 International Convention is in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Here is a map to Vancouver from Tucson:
