Sunrise today! It is so beautiful. The colors are not as clear as they really were in person, but you get the idea.
Bill and Cathy are boondocking somewhere. Hope they send a picture I can put into the blog. I’m going to send them this picture of the sunrise.
So yesterday I bought the ingredients to make crockpot lasagna. It turned out really well. LOVED it last night for dinner and I now have this for camping:
I made it with HOT sausage and beef patties. I love the crock pot liners I got! Such an easy clean up. The trick is to remember to put the liner in the crock pot first!!!! So now when I put it away, there is a liner in it for the next time!
So I made a decision. On Friday at 11AM I’m getting my first COVID vaccine. All I did was call the health center I go to and they checked me out and said I could come on Friday at 11AM. No driving to Tucson! So now we’ll see how it goes.
So I’ve been asking on FB about the lid to the propane locker in front of Mama Bear. So I got a suggestion and did this:
That ought to work. Already had the bungee cord so it was a free hack! Love it!
So I’m continuing this blog on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Only one more day in February and then we are into March! In March I celebrate 1 year in my home in Benson!

So this morning, Diana sent me this:
I noticed it was by “Happy Color”! I love that app! I use it all of the time. Such as yesterday when I got my first Moderna Vaccine. This is how it was here in Benson yesterday when I got my shot!
At one point, I was the only one in the waiting area. All together I sat with about 5 other people getting the shot. I called the Health Center here in Benson and was able to get the shot within 3 days. I was so surprised. I thought I would have to go to Tucson which I would have put off for quite a while. It was painless and my arm is a little sore this morning but nothing to worry about. My next shot will be on Friday, March 26th. Perfect timing for my summer adventures without worrying about whether I’m vaccinated or not. That will make Susan happy since we’ll be travelling together.
My friend Jennifer (she is part of my “Beaches” girls – born 2 days after me in the same hospital in Stamford!) sent me this:
