RV Life with Mama & Papa #25 Thursday, July 1, 2021

Good Morning friends!  Today is the first day of July!  WOW the year is flying by!  I took PAPA to Lawley for an oil change and other things that needed to be checked – message about needing service was on the dash.  He seems to be happy now.  Next “free” oil change at 103,250 miles.

Bought this for Metaxa and she seems to like it:

Cooling Mat

Now I know that I can have it for her when I’m boondocking and it’s HOT out.  I’ve been home almost 2 weeks and I’m getting antsy.  I kind of want to get going again.  Especially after tomorrow when MAMA gets a bath.  It rained here yesterday.  I’ll need to check to see if the fan leaked into the shower.  I’ll do that later today when I go for my garbage walk.

Yesterday this happened:

This reminds me of the ducks in Florida.  Baby birds are so cute!

Just wanted to reminisce a little today – At Las Vegas KOA in NM:

Las Vegas KOA – New Mexico

I liked this KOA.  I’ve had great luck at the KOA’s I’ve stayed at.  I’m a fan!

This is the craziest island on Lake Superior.  Looks like something out of Alfred Hitchcock:

I forget the name of it, but those are cormorants that have taken over the island along with White Pelicans and sea gulls.  I bet it stinks!

I wasn’t expecting this for a week, but it arrived today!  Used my new drill to hang it up.

Analog Camper Clock

I love the analog clock I put in Mama Bear and decided I wanted one for my kitchen.  I have 4 other clocks in the kitchen which was a collection I had from Naples, but this one works super!

This was the one I bought for $10 at Walmart:

Clock in Mama Bear

I could never tell what the time was while on the road and so I could put the right time on this clock and not worry about my phone or computer being the right time.  You can see it was an hour earlier in Arizona from where this picture was taken – the weather station has Arizona time on it.  Problem solved!
