Good Morning Everyone. Thought I would start a new post today. Life is pretty simple these days. It is TOO HOT to do anything but stay in the A/C and hang out in the house. Luckily, I love this new house. I’m still getting used to being in Mesa. I’m happy that we moved here. Leaving on my trips from here is really easy and closer to most of the places I want to go. I was looking back at my blogs and found this one: It is about finding the house behind Bill and Cathy in Benson.

I’m hoping if you just click the link, it will open to that post. It works from my phone, not from this blog while editing. It may work if I’m out of editing mode. It’s all about what ultimately became my home in Benson, but not at that time, about 4 months later. It helped me realize I wanted a “home base” even though I thought I wanted to be a Nomad. But if I was a bit younger, I may have done the Nomad thing for a few years. But God had a different plan for me and I met Jack. So 2 moves later, we are now settled in MESA and DAISEE2 is right by our side:
Because it is SO HOT here, I turn on her A/C every day for about 10 hours. I just hope it holds up for my trips in the future. Don’t know how much running the A/C will do before it poops out. But this is a 2022 and it only had 3700 miles on it when I got it, so I don’t think the A/C was run all that much. On the other hand, I think of all of the dealers here in MESA and all of the rigs baking in the sun and their A/C’s aren’t on all day. Time will tell!
Found another great walking tour of Naples:
Suzan and Bette have an open lot in St. Johns, AZ which is near Show Low where I’ll be in August. So I’m taking the Jeep with me this time and I’m going to go try to find the lot. I would love to boondock on it if possible in the future because this is where it is:
Much higher than MESA so I’m hoping it would be cooler in the summer. I could be wrong. They may want to sell it, they may not, but I’m sure they’ll let me use it. They are sending all of the information to me about it and it should be here today. This is a little (weird) video about St. Johns:

Jack joins me in the morning for these 10 minute meditations. I know it helps me – him, not so much but he indulges me. I thank him for that!

Beginning this again on Thursday, July 11, 2024. It’s Suzan’s birthday – she is 74 – 5 months older than me. Happy Birthday Suzan Wharton!
I have a dentist appointment today to get my teeth cleaned. Yesterday I got my hair cut. So I guess I’m settling in to MESA now. I never found a dentist in Tucson so I went back to Benson. I loved Toni yesterday so now I have a “hairdresser” – I guess I should say stylist now. I’ll let you know what I think about the dentist.
