Good Morning Everyone,

TGIO – Thank God It’s October – come on cool weather!

Had some work to do this morning so I’m a little late starting this.  I had to do my Website Report for Intergroup for the month of September and I wanted to work it up so I could get the analytics from Google for the whole month of September.  There has been a “trend” recently of less visitors.  Bob mentioned that to me a while back and he thinks it is because when we switched to Word Press that the analysis isn’t on every page of the website, or we have less pages to monitor.  I’m not sure which, but perhaps this is a truer reflection of what really happens at the site.  I’m not sure about it and I mentioned it to Gary, but he hasn’t responded about it and I haven’t seen him F2F in a while – he’s skipped the District Meetings and that is where I usually see him.  He’s been busy with his life and love so that’s okay.  I see his posts on FB so I know he is out and about A LOT!

I had a strange dream last night.  I was at a party with my brother Jon and we got separated.  I was trying to text him, but couldn’t figure out how to do that.  Next thing I know, a couple of guys who knew me but I didn’t know them tried to help me with it and then the phone was completely opened up and all of the inside gadgets were falling apart.  Then a big Caribbean blue water wave swept us away to a beach and I realized the phone got all wet and then I had no way of communicating at all.  So what do you suppose that means?  I’ve been thinking about getting a new computer, so that may have been part of it.  Then I saw on the news where some developer in Ft. Myers is going to create a HUGE pool that goes for acres and acres like I’ve seen in Dubai.  It is supposed to be massive and the water color was that Carribean blue.  So I’m going with that.  Who knows!

See – I told you I started late.  I’m out of time so have a great day everyone.

Well, about the analytics I’m thinking of a few websites I used to visit regularly. And over time I got out of the “habit”..and return with less vigor…loyalty. Also, we now have a viable District website. Also we have been promoting the Area and the GSO websites so much. (I’m making EXCUSES, of course!

Bob will say, we gotta change something. He may be right. Maybe something, really desirable which changes each day, a message.

This is NOT a suggestion, but if your blog was on website every day, I’d prob go there to read and interact with comment. Maybe it IS a suggestion–not your blog, but some bit of news, a joke, a comment from the multitudes (HA!)…I am just throwing out stuff here, not really serious I guess…but must be something I have in mind, which takes participation to work.

    More shall be revealed

Dreams I do not touch (even my own) unless they are SO EXPLICIT that there is no doubt of an inspired meaning. Otherwise, I think our minds are repeating stuff that we have encountered…it’s like cleaning a Hard Drive (I hope you DO that every week or two? HA!

    Wonderful Day for you all.
    Bye

How do you “clean” your hard drive? Was that a “joke”. I need to take a class in computer workings one day so I don’t accumulate 10 years worth of junk on this laptop.

I went to Office Max – the one on Pine Ridge and Airport. They’ve got nothing I’m interested in. I guess I’ll go to Best Buy and see what they have. Then I’ll probably go “on line” to buy the thing I zero in on. Maybe I’ll stop in after work one day – maybe tomorrow after my “work & workout”. More shall be revealed.

Mary, I hope you get to read this. At IG meeting I had my computer for you to look at, it just isn’t “YOU”! So I passed, and you so busy anyway. I have thoughts on the meeting, but I’ll keep them to myself (that’s a NEW thing for me..HA!)

Keeping you HD free of a lot of junk is not a joke (YOU know that. A computer will run for years–without cleaning, but runs better WITH cleaning–not fanatical cleaning but just whenever a few weeks go by, and you think of it. EAZY-PEAZY, and yet, it would be hard to bring you up to date using “comments” or “Chat”. There are thousands of “cleaning” apps out there. So if you’d like me to help out, I can…but others have THEIR methods also, and some don’t even believe in it (“I can stay sober without those dammm steps!”)–grin!

So three apps we would download first.
    1. Eusing Registry Cleaner
    2. CCleaner
    3. Auslogics Disk Defrag

These are all simple and small apps. After they are all downloaded and installed I find it helpful to place them all in a single folder on desktop, maybe called MAINTENANCE or MAINT..I would like to be there when this is happening, b/c there ARE a couple choices to make. Then you run #1 and #2 in that order. A coffee Keurig(?) would be nice while these are running–they do not take long, only minutes, really!

Later you can run Auslogics Defrag, it is pretty straight-forward, and go to bed. it might take a couple .hours–who knows? More will be revealed. After that, you can run them all every few weeks, same order.

I have not been to Best Buy yet, prob tomorrow. If I see something interesting I’ll text you. But I have lost my excitement. Either cost is too high–or it’s a piece of junk.
But…who knows. I might look in Costco also, it’s right there.

I tell you what REALLY exciting–for me–is Apple. WOW! they have some beautiful equipment. Ask Polly how she likes hers.

OK. Let’s get together – how about this SUNDAY after the BB for you and church & gym for me. About 2ish? Maybe we could go to the Apple Store too, or check on line here first. I’m reluctant to go to Apple, but asking Polly is a great idea – I LOVE her she’ll give me the straight skinny. Emilio with Corrections uses an Apple and Michael (AKA Richard) wouldn’t have anything else but maybe a Lavonto (sp?). My brother Bill LOVES Apple also. I loved the bio of Steve Jobs so maybe there is hope for me too. Let me know about Sunday.

Terri “resigned”. I slept in and have other work to do so Wylie will be short – I’m still praying about it.
