Good Morning Everyone,
So this morning this happened as we were enjoying coffee in the back yard:
I was thinking about how Tucson was surrounded by mountains and this picture shows all of the mountain ranges. Our view is of the Santa Catalina Mountains:
It’s very cool that where ever you drive in Tucson, you can see mountains. They aren’t like the Rocky Mountains, but they are still beautiful. I love this picture of the mountains at Catalina State Park:
Ziggy wore himself out:
He has grown a lot and his fur is getting so soft. He will be so handsome! Here they are sharing the bed:
I think we got them at the right time. They will be such great buddies!
Last night Ziggy slept on the bed with us and stayed by my side all night. It was so cool. The day will come soon when we can keep all of the doors open all night and then Metaxa won’t feel left out. That will be great. Ziggy is a little too young to keep the bedroom door open all night. I think in a week or so all will be back to normal. I’ll keep you posted!

Today is Monday, October 23, 2023. I’m leaving on Thursday for Patagonia Lake State Park with the ladies. I’m planning on taking Metaxa with me and my Kayak. I’m not sure how that is going to go, but I’m going to try it. The weather promises to be cooler so I’m really looking forward to it.
Ziggy had to go to the emergency vet on Sunday. His eye was swollen and he looked really bad. It happened very quickly because first thing yesterday he was fine. Anyway, they gave him a shot and we are giving him eyedrops 5 times a day. He is much better now, but is sleeping a lot. Not sure how it happened. Now we’re just watching Zena closely as it is contagious.

Today is Tuesday, October 24, 2023. I’m leaving on Thursday the 26th to go to Patagonia Lake State Park. It’s about an hour and a half from Tucson. Today, we go to Fry’s to pick up the soup I need to bring along with a few other items I need for the trip.
I can’t believe how well Ziggy and Zena have bonded. It’s worked out just as we had hoped. They are so cute together.
We had a storm yesterday and we got HAIL!
Glad I didn’t have a carport to hit with that, but our skylights were pretty noisy!
