Hello Everyone,
Today is Labor Day! It’s a holiday for most, but I’m going into work (later than usual after I go to the 8AM Morning Reflections meeting), plus I’m going to wear shorts and flip flops). I want to catch up on some end of month reports for Lily and she won’t be there to “derail” me. That’s a good thing.
Labor Day 2016
We now have the website operating for Sisters by the Sea. It’s exciting. I registered for the event and booked my hotel room. I sure hope it works out for us. I’ve recruited Rosi and Patty to join the committee. We’ll see if they commit really. You can never tell.

If you go to www.sistersbythesea.org, you can register for the Hotel and for the event with a credit card. Then you get an email with your ticket for the event. It is really exciting. Peggy is really doing a great job with that. That reminds me, there is now a new flyer for our Bocce Tournament fundraiser I need to up load to the calendar of events. I should do that now so I don’t forget. I’ll be back! Done!
We had our 7PM meeting last night. Billy chaired. There were only 4 of us – I was disappointed, but it was a great meeting anyway.
I think I’ll spend some of the day printing out tickets for the Bocce and Shuffleboard Tournament on Nov. 13th. I need to make up ticket packets for our meeting on the 14th. I think this Sister’s event will take up a lot of my time, but I really enjoyed working on it before and now we are “on our own” and we are not affiliated with the Serenity Club. I just put out my trash and recycling. I hope they pick up today since it is a holiday. I need to put my Flag out. All my neighbors are hoping they’ll pick up today too.
